Wow. I just have to say that. Wow. I'm shocked, surprised, elated, and every other thing you could think of. I can't believe I've made it here, to the final tribal council.
First off, I have to thank everyone that's been involved. From all of you guys, who have helped make a crazy post-merge, to all the people out pre-merge, to our incredible host Jeff, and of course to Mary. Everyone one of you guys have helped make my first ORG experience an incredible, memorable one.
Going into this game, I wanted to put myself into a position of power, without being a threat. I believe that, to win this game, you always need someone above you, and below you. That way, there's always someone who will be targeted instead of you, whether by a majority or minority alliance. I believe I executed this strategy well, as Mary herself said that the reason she took out JT was she viewed him as a threat. This is one of my major keys to success.
The other was my strong alliance. From day 1, JT and I had a solid alliance together. We trusted each other, liked each other, and strategized well together. Eventually, Mary asked to join out alliance, and with that, I had a solid final 3 in place. Along the way, moves had to be made to put our alliance in power. The vote out of Trish was a critical one, as it put my core 3 into power among the original Rheali. Bubba, as I'm sure we all noticed, was not happy with this vote, and to prevent him from attempting to make others flip against us, he unfortunately had to go as well. From there, it was a matter of trying to take out those against us out. Which is easier said then done, because they put up a hell of a fight!
At the final 4, I had to make a crucial decision. Austin made the case to me that JT and Mary were closer than I thought, and I should vote with him. Regardless of whether or not he was telling the truth, if I did vote with him, and JT went home that night, I was guaranteed final 2. But, I decided to vote against Austin. I stuck true to my alliance, and stayed loyal to the bonds I had made.
I truly believe I have played the best game here, and deserve the title of Sole Survivor. I have always voted in the majority, always know who was going home that night, always had a say in who went home, and was never preserved as a threat. To my count, my name has only appeared on Tribal Council votes twice. I have been active, I have always participated in challenges, I was always an asset in tribal challenges, I was loyal to my alliances, and I was always around if you just wanted to talk
I've enjoyed my experience with you guys immensely, and I look forward to your questions!
